Once a month, for the next year, you can say that some of your hard earned money went to something more than a parking ticket or that pair of shoes you know you shouldn't have bought. Instead, you can say it went to helping Orfeo Group, a young, award-winning theatre company that, with your help, is growing exponentially. Your tax deductible charitable donation will hopefully enable us to mount at least three full productions in 2010, as well as officially launch our education program this February!

Now on to the plans!

We've come up with a list of monthly donation plans, to help you spread out your generous donation to manageable chunks! These plans all debit 12 MONTHLY donations automatically, spaced out over the course of the entire year. There is no automatic renewal, and payments will be discontinued after 12 months. The "You'll Barely Notice" Plan ($5.00 per month)
For the cost of two lattes at Starbucks, or one beer per month, you give an extremely generous donation over the course of a year:

The "Single DVD Netflix" Plan ($8.99 per month).
For the same cost as the cheapest Netflix subscription, you can provide much needed help to the live theatre industry.

The "Two Martinis"
(or "Three Beers, Plus Tip") Plan ($16 per month)
One night on the town with a two drink minimum helps Orfeo Group pay for much-needed rehearsal space. Booze vs. Charity. Classic battle.

The "Two Martinis in Boston" Plan ($20.00 per month)
Just like all of the bars in Boston, we've adjusted for inflation. We're actually just being cheeky, but for a portion of the cost of one evening out in any big city every month, we can pay all of the printing costs for programs and posters for a single production. Think about that.

The "Parking Ticket" Plan ($25.00 per month)
For the same price that the city would charge you for parking near a fire hydrant, you can help us fund a non-equity actor or stage manager for a week. Park carefully for an entire year, and donate this dough to us instead. Please?

The "Cable Bill" Plan ($39.99 per month)
Comcast, Verizon, Time Warner: highway robbery. We will take this sum and put it to producing thought provoking pieces of theatre and encouraging community interaction. Can you say the same for your TV?

The "iPhone" Plan ($100 per month)
For you generous donors who can afford an extra iPhone payment every month, this plan sends us a long way towards a production. For the same cost as you might spend on your phone over a year, we can pay an entire actor's salary for a show, fund the cost of a whole set, or purchase the costumes for a show.

The "Equity Contract" Plan ($375 per month)
We call this the Equity contract plan because this monthly payment, over the course of a year pays for one more Equity contract to come to Boston. This is the largest cost to our company, and by helping us with this cost, you alleviate most of our finanial stress, and allow us to keep Boston's booming theatre scene growing.
